Happy Birthday to FRANKENSTEIN, the novel!
Sooo, I'm a day late in posting this but I think as I worked through the night that Mary would approve. Here is my tribute to one of the writers that changed my life. Thank you Mary! I hope you all enjoy.
Extraordinarily lovely. Oh! I found a physical description of Mary, when she was in her twenties, which was noted in the journal of one of her father's literary friends:
"She was delicate lady, golden-haired, and somewhat above the middle height for women, with large intelligent greyish blue eyes. Her swan-like neck and graceful shoulders were reminiscent of a Van Dyke portrait, and her dainty hands and tapering fingers were like those of a porcelain doll."
