Mysterious Spy Girl

I dedicate my illustration of the day to Martin Powell.

This illustration I created based off of our many talks and his lovely writing. Mostly of adventures, detectives, and all-around awesome comic book heroes (or villains!). It was only a matter of time until I created a Mysterious Spy Girl. I'm not quite sure if she's naughty or nice but I'm sure she prefers that way!

Thank you, Martin, for always inspiring my imagination and work!

Here's are some close-ups of my Spy Girl.
The image started just of her face and grew into a whole pose, in which I had to keep pasting more and more sheets of paper. I really got into this one :)

  1. Fabulous--!!

She inspires me to dream up a whole new project with you, something for a more grown-up audience. if we didn't already have enough on our plate (along with the stack of pancakes).

    Whaddaya think?

  2. There's always room for more pancakes! ;)

  3. I think her name might be..."Mysteri."

  4. Ha! I like that! Very 'The incredibles' as well :)
